An exhibition to showcase the Coastal Lines Press authors and their zines at the Palestine Museum Scotland.
“Zines from Gaza travel across borders like tiny vessels, carrying stories that would otherwise be silenced. Every page is an act of resistance: a refusal to be invisible, a declaration of presence, and a celebration of creativity in the face of extreme hardship.”
The exhibition consisted of:
- A4 author posters with QR Code links to purchase and/or listen
- A4 example zine pages with illustrations
- Zines – one copy of a zine from each of the authors
- Posters – ‘Coastal Lines Press’ and ‘How to Get a Copy’ plus exhibition-specific info (using the QR codes to purchase, how to leave a message for the authors etc.)
- A space for visitors to leave a message for the authors, with leaf post-its and pens supplied
The main author and zine posters were hand-mounted on kapa board to suit the space.
Organisation, design, vinyl text, mounting and set-up. Vinyl text cut and kindly donated by Barry Robertson at Robert Sign Dundee
